Santa Cruz Mountain Residence: This roundhouse is inspired by California Indian Roundhouses, Native American medicine wheel rock formations, and the monumentality of Stonehenge. The Mountain Roundhouse combines the skill and artistry of two extraordinary craftspeople: Michael Eckerman's stone work with Karl Bareis, using site harvested wood in his Japanese inspired roof framing.
